Mit dem Abschluss einer Reservierung bei Generation Cars bestätigen Sie, dass Sie diese Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen vollständig gelesen, verstanden und akzeptiert haben. Wenn Sie vor der Buchung Fragen haben, kontaktieren Sie uns bitte per WhatsApp oder E-Mail.
Reservations
Once a reservation has been confirmed, Generation Cars will send a booking voucher to the email address provided within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it.
- Booking vouchers are sent exclusively by email. For questions and assistance, please contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
- Any modifications to an existing reservation must be requested in writing via email.
- Speculative, duplicate, or commercial use of the Generation Cars name or booking system is strictly prohibited.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time: Full refund of any prepayment made.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time: The prepayment is non-refundable.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to ensure they are properly recorded.
Vehicle Usage & Passenger Requirements
Passenger Capacity
The total number of passengers, including children and infants, must never exceed the official seating capacity of the rented vehicle. Reservations must accurately reflect the total number of travellers.
Contact Information
The customer is required to provide a valid and reachable mobile phone number at the time of booking. This number will be used exclusively for communication regarding your reservation and pickup logistics.
Conduct & Vehicle Care
- Smoking and the consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited at all times.
- The driver reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the rental if these rules are violated, without entitlement to a refund.
Geographical Restriction
Pickup & Drop-Off
Flight Information
For airport pickups, the customer must provide their flight number and estimated arrival time at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup. This allows our team to monitor your flight and be present at arrivals on time.
Identification at Arrivals
A Generation Cars representative will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign displaying the customer's last name. The handover typically takes less than 5 minutes — no queues, no delays.
What's Included in Every Rental
The following are included as standard with every Generation Cars rental at no additional charge:
- Full comprehensive insurance (CDW — Collision Damage Waiver)
- 24/7 customer support via WhatsApp and phone
- One additional driver at no extra cost
- Child seat (please request at the time of booking)
- Unlimited mileage
Driver Requirements
Minimum Age
The minimum legal driving age to rent a vehicle with Generation Cars is 21 years old. Drivers aged between 21 and 25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — please enquire at the time of booking.
Required Documents
The following documents must be presented at the time of vehicle collection:
- Valid driving licence (held for a minimum of 1 year)
- Passport or national identity card
- Booking confirmation (printed or on your phone)
Accidents & Theft
In the event of a road traffic accident, breakdown, or theft of the vehicle, the customer must:
- Contact Generation Cars immediately via the provided emergency number.
- Contact the local police and obtain an official incident report.
- Follow the instructions provided by Generation Cars at all times.
- Remain at the scene until the appropriate assistance has been arranged.
- Do not admit liability or make any statements to third parties without prior authorisation.
Generation Cars will handle all subsequent communications with the insurance provider on the customer's behalf.
Financial Policies
Security Deposit
Traffic & Parking Fines
The customer is solely responsible for any parking fines, traffic violations, or road tolls incurred during the rental period. Generation Cars reserves the right to pass on any such charges — plus an administration fee — if they are received after the vehicle has been returned.
Interior Cleanliness
Vehicles are delivered in a clean and hygienic condition. If a vehicle is returned in an excessively soiled state (including food waste, pet hair, or heavy staining), a professional cleaning fee will be charged.
Loss of Keys or Documents
In the event of lost or damaged vehicle keys, key fobs, or official vehicle documents, the customer will be charged a replacement fee of €500.
Complaints
Generation Cars is committed to providing a five-star experience. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint, please observe the following procedure:
- All formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the end of your rental period.
- Complaints can be submitted via email to the address provided in your booking confirmation.
- Our team will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it fully within 10 working days.
